A Nationwide and Eternal Movement

A steadfast commitment to our mission, vision and values

In keeping with God's Word, we are not only stewards of the purpose and direction of the organization, but we are also committed to ourselves while carrying out that purpose. We've aligned our mission, vision and values Biblically to ensure they provide truth-based accountability at every level and with every person.

Mission: Connecting Leaders, Changing Lives
To see the time, talent, touch and treasure of marketplace and other Kingdom leaders help ministries transform lives worldwide.

Vision: Engage, Release, Launch and Grow
Engage thousands of marketplace leaders with Christian ministry opportunities around the corner and around the world.

Release generosity in our communities with the dedication of unique gifts of time, talent, touch (network), and treasure to God's service.

Launch and Grow:
Increase Barnabas Group locations alongside local Christian foundations coupled with the efforts of The Master's Program graduates and other Christian leaders in every American metropolitan area with a population of at least one million.

A Word on Our Past, Present and Future

TBG was founded in 2000 by Bob Shank and Jim West to help men and women who had completed a three-year coaching program (The Master's Program) to engage their personal calling in service for God's Kingdom. Today, The Barnabas Group is made up of men and women who are enrolled in or are graduates of The Master's Program as well as other service-oriented Christian men and women who are willing to search out and participate in the many exciting ministry opportunities TBG provides.

We launch in cities that have graduated and/or have current classes of The Master's Program, as these Kingdom-minded individuals already "see the value" or "get it" and are the catalysts to engage their local community. If you are interested, contact us at:
